Special Services
On Mountain/Outside
Please join us on Snowmass Mountain for 15 minutes to worship in God’s playground. We meet Sundays at 12:00pm outside Gwyn’s High Alpine Restaurant during ski season.
Children’s Christmas Pageant
There is no better time of the year to be a child than at Christmas time, when the very reason we celebrate is to commemorate the birth of a child. The Annual Children’s Christmas Pageant turns the tables and our children become the story tellers and we get to sit back and listen to the greatest story ever told. Rehearsals begin on Sunday mornings around Thanksgiving and culminate in the production which usually takes place around the second Sunday in December. Watch the insert in the bulletin for details or update your profile on Constant Contact so that you receive updates via email.
Christmas Eve
December 24, 5:00, 7:00 & 9:00 PM: Christmas Eve at the Snowmass Chapel is perhaps the most special service of the year. You can expect to see a chamber orchestra, choir, bells, and candlelight. You know that you will love singing all of your favorite Christmas Carols and hearing the seasonal readings that are part of our Christian Tradition. We always have a full house and the peace, love and joy is so powerful when everybody comes together to celebrate the birth of Jesus. If you are a musician, or would like to be involved in some aspect of our Christmas Eve Service, please see Paul Dankers and be sure to update your profile on Constant Contact so that you hear about rehearsals in a timely manner.

Easter
Easter Sunday mornings at the Snowmass Chapel are a celebration of God’s plan of Salvation for all people, victory of life over death, and the transforming of our lives. We commemorate Easter with a choir and orchestra performing music that expresses this ultimate triumph. Christmas introduces this idea with a sacred hush of expectation and anticipation that builds to its exultant conclusion on Easter Sunday. If this season has you singing, be sure to get in touch with Paul Dankers so that you can get in on the rehearsals and help us give expression to the upwelling of gratitude and praise in our hearts. Be sure to visit the Chapel’s link to Constant Contact, where you can check the box that will indicate that you want to receive email updates regarding the adult choir.
