How We Discover & Grow

Faith, like life, is a journey. The faith journey is continual, every changing, and is often like a walk on a mountain trail. Sometimes the unexpected happens. The twists and turns of a Christ centered life reflect depth not ambivalence.

At Snowmass Chapel we create an atmosphere where searching, seeking, asking, pondering, and wondering are the norm. There is no one right path that is set for all to follow. We do not believe that faith is about a place where a person arrives where no more questions are asked. Rather, we are community of people seeking Christ and understanding of what it means to be a Christian in a complex, fast paced, and challenging world.

As we move into a new era of leadership at the Chapel, we are seeking creative and engaging opportunities for people of all ages to discover and grow in their life with Christ. We are in the process of exploring how to be the place that children and youth will want to continue to come. We want to be the place that helps prepare children for life, not just as Christians, but as whole human beings. While we have been successful in this area, we are passionate about our desire to reach more children and families in the Roaring Fork Valley.

Although we are committed to significantly expanding our programs for children and youth over the next 12 months, we are also pursuing multiple avenues to help adults grow and learn in their faith journeys as well.
