Sports and Outdoor Activities
Throughout the year the Chapel offers a variety of activities for any and all who would like to participate. To find out more details or to organize your own activity, contact Sue at the Chapel.
Volleyball
The Spirited Spikers just completed their fourth season of recreational indoor volleyball. Our team offers everyone the chance to play, improve their skills, and have fun in a co-ed league at the Snowmass Village Recreation Center. Call Sue, 300-1223, for schedule details and come join us for some spirited spiking and fun!
Skiing & Boarding
Friends of the chapel spend many of their winter days skiing or boarding at Snowmass. If you are looking for friends to ski or board all you have to do is ask. If you would like to arrange an event or periodic ski dates, call Sue to see how you can connect with others.
Summer Softball
Last summer we had 2 softball games at the ToSV baseball field near the Snowmass Club. Adults and children alike had fun! Future games to be announced.
Golf Tournament - Best Ball Team Play
If you have any interest in setting up a tournament this spring or fall, call Sue to get it on the calendar. This would be for golfers of all abilities.
Tennis Tournament - Mixed Doubles
If you have any interest in setting up a tournament this summer or fall, contact Sue to get it on the calendar.
Hiking & Prayer Walks
Many of us walk and hike throughout the summer, but have you ever done a prayer walk? It is easy to plan and can be a very powerful, spiritual time. Why not organize an event with other friends of the chapel? Call Sue to discuss details or to plan an event where all are welcome.

As human beings, we are made for relationships of all kinds. Whether a parent, spouse, friend, or partner, we celebrate relationships and seek to be a place where people in all stages, phases, and ages in life have the chance to connect with other people. Isolation and loneliness are big problems in our era and at the Chapel we seek to be a place where there are boundless opportunities and gatherings in which to meet and get to know others.
It is through our relationship with others that we learn what it means to have a relationship with God and it is because of our relationship with God that we are compelled to have relationships with others.
Whether through our concert series, Sunday morning gatherings, ski and volley ball teams, or being part of a social networking page, just to name a few, we strive to be a place not only about people, but where people connect with others.
