- The size of the plot measures 5 feet by 10 feet.
- The sale of more than eight sites to any one party is subject to the written approval of the Snowmass Chapel Board of Trustees.
- The cemetery shall be maintained in a natural meadow state. The grounds will not be mowed or "manicured."
- Native wildflowers may be planted, if desired, by the owner of a burial site, but the cemetery staff is not able to provide watering, weeding or any other maintenance of such plantings.
- During the winter, the road will be plowed only to allow for a burial. Access to the cemetery at other times shall be by snowshoes or cross-country skis.
- For a cemetery plot: one casket per plot or two cremains per plot or one casket and one cremain per plot.
- For a crematory site: two cremains per plot maximum.
- Only human remains may be interred on the property.
- Maximum size for headstones shall be twelve inches wide by thirty-six inches long with a 4" base to be laid flat on the surface of the ground.
- Grave stones or markers shall be of stone, granite or marble.
- Grave stones or markers shall be set in (or permanently bonded to) a level concrete foundation at least four inches deep. A companion marker needs 6" on each side.
- The cemetery staff shall arrange for necessary plowing or grading of the road immediately prior to a burial, and the cost of the plowing or grading shall be covered by the perpetual care fund.
- The cemetery staff shall arrange for the opening and closing of a grave and the cost of this service will be billed to the owner of the burial site.
- The cemetery staff will coordinate services with a funeral director, clergyman, etc. However, the cemetery staff is not in a position to arrange for special needs (e.g. purchase of a grave marker). A funeral director is best suited to handle these details.
